1 Dead, 1 Injured in Harris County Motorcycle Crash
A woman is dead and a man has been severely injured early as a result of a motorcycle accident that occurred in north Harris County early Friday morning.
Details of the Harris County Motorcycle Accident
According the the Houston Chronicle, the fatal accident occurred in the 200 block of FM 1960 near East Gatewick around 2:30 am.
The 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling westbound on FM 1960 when it hit a curb and lost control. The man operating the motorcycle and his passenger, identified as Raquel Nazario, were thrown both from the motorcycle.
Nazario was wearing a helmet, but still sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The man was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital.
Details of his injuries were not released but deputies said he was in critical condition.
