1 Dead, 3 Injured in Ohio Truck Crash
One man was killed and another was injured in a box truck accident on Route 104 in Lucasville, Ohio last week. The accident remains under investigation.
Box Truck Rear-Ended Pickup
According to NBC4i, a Columbus, Ohio local news station, a Ford F150 truck driver was driving northbound on state Route 104 north of State Route 348 in Lucasville when he was struck from behind by a box truck. The rear-end collision reportedly occured while the pickup truck driver was waiting to make a left turn into a convenience store parking lot.
Trucking Accident Injuries
- The box truck driver, 75-year-old Freddie Hayes of Scottstown, was killed in the accident.
- The driver of the pickup truck that was struck, 38-year-old Edward Mollett of Franklin Furnace, was injured and transported to a local hospital.
- Two other passengers in the vehicles were also treated in the hospital for injuries.
