2 Injured in Orange, Texas Accident
Two people have been injured following a major accident on Highway 62 in Orange, Texas.
About the Fatal Orange Accident
According to 12 NEWS, after a fatal accident on Highway 62 at Highway 105 in Orange, two people were injured and taken to a local hospital. The accident took place around 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) Information Officer Stephanie Davis stated that police are currently investigating the details of the accident. Officer Davis says that the extent of the victims’ injuries are currently unspecified.

The following information was provided by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS):
- In 2013, the Texas population of 26,448,193 experienced 3,044 fatal crashes and 3,382 deaths.
- In the U.S. there were 30,057 fatal motor vehicle crashes in which 32,719 deaths occurred.
- This caused in national vehicle death rates of 10.3 deaths per 100,000 people.
- About 57 percent of motor vehicle deaths happened in single-vehicle crashes.
