Police say Andrew Pierce drove a Lyle Pierce Inc. milk tractor-trailer north on Route 1 at approximately 9:34 a.m. local time when the accident occurred. The victim, 79-year-old Rody Conway, attempted to pull onto Route 1 when the semi collided with his pickup truck.
