Multiple sources are reporting that, according to the Arkansas State Police, a motorcycle accident happened along Interstate 40 that resulted in the deaths of two Arkansas residents.
The motorcycle accident reported resulted in the deaths of 58-year-old Michael Lilly and 57-year-old Vicky Lilly, who were both killed after losing control of their motorcycle that was heading west near the town of Russellville on Friday. Authorities have stated that the motorcycle fell onto its left side and slid along the left shoulder of the roadway.
Both of the people on the motorcycle were thrown from the vehicle. Vicky Lilly was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and Michael Lilly died from his injuries at a local hospital on Monday.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
