Atlanta Rapper Killed After Car Rolls Over on Highway Ramp
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, rapper Carlos “Shawty Lo” Walker died in a car crash Wednesday morning in Atlanta after his car rolled over and caught on fire.
Crash Confirmed as Single-Car Incident
Walker, 40, lost control of his 2016 Audi on the southbound off-ramp toward Cascade Road, hitting a tree and causing the vehicle to flip over and catch fire. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Walker was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.
Two women who were in the car with Walker were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The crash, which police initially believed was a hit-and-run incident, occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Walker was the father of 11 children and had just dealt with the death of his father a few days before the wreck, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
