Brownsville Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Rollover
A woman was killed in a rollover accident that happened in Brownsville.
Details about the Fatal Rollover Accident
The Brownsville Herald is reporting that, on Monday, Brownsville police continued to investigate a single-vehicle accident that happened in which a 25-year-old woman was killed.
According to police, 25-year-old April Lynn Munivez, of Brownsville, reportedly lost control of the Jeep Liberty she was driving, which caused the vehicle to rollover, the accident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon along the 1400 block of West Price Road.
At this time, authorities are unsure about what caused Munivez to lose control of her vehicle, but they are looking into the speed of the SUV at the time of the accident as well as weather conditions. Police spokesperson JJ Trevino stated that it had just rained so the roads in the area were wet at the time of the accident.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
