Multiple sources are reporting that a section of Highway 84 in Coleman County had to be shut off for a time due to a three-vehicle accident that happened that killed two people and injured two others.
According to reports from the Coleman Fire Department, the road between Santa Anna and Coleman was closed. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to the Coleman Fire Department, and two others were taken to the hospital from the accident to be treated for their injuries.
The condition of the two who were taken to the hospital is currently unknown. At this time, no word has been released on the cause of the accident, but the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Coleman County Sheriff’s Office are both investigating.
