Cooper Tire and Rubber Company is recalling several of its tire models due to tire rubber contamination which could cause tread separation. The tread is the patterned part of the tire that makes contact with the road- tread separation increases the risk of a crash. The recall includes Cooper Discoverer and Mastercraft Courser tires, as well as tires sold under the Delta, National, Pep Boys Definity brand, and TCB/Sigma Stampede brands.
