Daycare Workers Caught Playing an Abusive Game
According to ABC 13 in Houston, Texas, a daycare in Kentucky has been accused of an abusive game being played by their employees. The game is called “Smack for a Snack.”
Details about the Allegations
The report says that the only way the school age children could get a yogurt is to allow the two men to hit them with a stick on their leg or hand. The state officials stated that at least two of the children do have noticeable bruises.
Lexington Police has cited one of the staff members with second-degree assault.
Investigators mentioned that in another incident, the store’s front window was shattered after a child pushed another child into the window.
According to the investigators report, there are too many children in one room, about 27 children to 1 staff member. There is also no sign in or sign out for students.
The daycare facility has been placed under intermediate sanctions which calls for increased monitoring of the facility.
