Drunk Driver Kills Man in Head-on Collision

According to WCSH6, a 24-year-old drunk driver crashed into and killed another motorist on Lambert Hill Road in Strong, Maine, on Tuesday.

Vehicles Engulfed in Fire

Police arrested Mark Garner, 24, after the crash that left one man dead. Witnesses say Garner traveled down Lambert Hill Road at high speeds while under the influence before crossing the center line.

Garner crashed head-on with another pickup truck traveling the opposite direction. Both vehicles caught on fire immediately after the collision, reports WCSH6. The driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck was unable to escape his vehicle and died as a result of the wreck.

WCSH6 reports that two passengers in the truck with Garner escaped the fire.
