Falls County Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

A man from Whitesboro has died after an accident in Falls County.

Details about the Fatal Falls County Accident

The Waco Tribune is reporting that a man from Whitesboro died on Monday morning after he lost control of his SUV on a road between Marlin and Lott in Falls County.

The victim, who has been identified as 31-year-old Tommy Lee Garland, was found and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident after officials from the Department of Public Safety say he was killed in a single-vehicle accident on State Highway 320 at about 5:45 a.m. on Monday morning.

Senior Trooper D.L. Wilson of the Department of Public Safety, said that the victim was driving a GMC Yukon on State Highway 320 near FM Road 2027 when he somehow swerved off the roadway and lost control of the vehicle and rolled several times.

The victim was ejected from the Yukon, according to Wilson. Falls County justice of the Peace Sharon Maxey said that the victim’s body was being sent to Dallas for an autopsy.
