Fatal Crash Closes I-45 In Ellis County
According to a news report by CBS-DFW, a deadly crash occurred in the Ellis County town of Garrett and shut down I-45.
Details About the Fatal Crash
The crash occurred at around 2:00 PM last Wednesday on the northbound side of the highway. One person was killed in the crash and four others were hospitalized. Two other victims were treated at the scene.
Texas Department of Transportation officials announced that I-45 had been reopened three hours later after the crash occurred at around 5:15 PM.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
