Man Charged with 8 Criminal Offenses for Bus Theft, Murder

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Department reports that multiple charges have been filed against a man responsible for killing two victims.

About the Multiple Charge Bus Incident

Fox 31 Denver News says the man in question, Daihauonzadre Brooks-Jones, reportedly stole a bus and later caused a crash on Highway 83 of Colorado Springs. Jones crashed into a Toyota 4-Runner after losing control of the stolen bus before colliding with a Honda Pilot.

The two crashes ultimately led to the deaths of the Toyota and Honda drivers.  Jones also sustained great injuries along with other passengers in the Honda.

Authority accounts state that Jones was taken into custody at El Paso County Jail on Friday, November 6.
