Multiple Children Hurt on Rivercrest Bus After 18-Wheeler Wreck 

On Thursday, November 5, multiple school-age children were injured in a crash involving a large truck and a school bus.

About the Wilson, Arkansas Bus Collision

Arkansas Online reports the tragic event occurred in Wilson, Arkansas in the area of U.S. 61 and Arkansas 14. Official report that nine students riding in the Rivercrest School District bus were quickly transported to a hospital after the collision with the truck.

Overall, there were more than 20 students present on the school bus at the time of the crash. Superintendent Sally Bennett revealed that the incident happened after normal school hours around 3:30 p.m. Bennett also noted that the situation was handled calmly with care and that all students who were hospitalized have since been released.

Information about the driver of the 18-wheeler has not been released yet.
