Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
WIVB News is reporting that police in the town of Tonawanda are currently investigating the death of a man who was killed when he was on a motorcycle and collided with a van on Tuesday evening.
Tonawanda police have stated that they responded to the scene of the accident that happened at the corner of Colvin and Woodcrest Boulevards. Witnesses called police to inform then about the accident just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday. When authorities arrived at the scene, they pronounced the motorcycle driver dead at the scene of the accident and immediately began their preliminary investigation into the cause and circumstances of the accident.
At this time, police believe that the motorcyclist hit the van, but they’re working on figuring out if speed played a role in the accident. At this time, the name of the victim has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
