One Dead in Waco Motorcycle Accident

A motorcyclist was killed Friday night after being involved in a collision with a pickup in Waco, Texas.

About the Fatal Motorcycle Accident

According to KXXV, Craig Fernando was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.

The accident occurred around 7:45 pm at the McDonald’s on Hewitt and Imperial Drive.

Police say the Fernando was traveling southbound when a pickup traveling in the opposite direction turned in front of the motorcycle to enter the McDonalds parking lot. Fernando attempted to brake, but his motorcycle slip into the pickup.

People at the scene performed CPR on Fernando who was then transported to Scott & White Medical Center Hillcrest where he later died.

The occupants of the pickup were unharmed.
