One Killed in Texas Jet Ski Accident
One man is dead following a jet ski collision that happened Saturday at Possum Kingdom Lake on Saturday.
About the Fatal Jet Ski Accident
According to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Matthew Rowan and his friend, Jeremy Summers, were jet skiing when they attempted to ride a large wake left from a boat; however, in their attempt, the two jet skiers collided with each other.
The collision left Rowan with severe head injuries. A good Samaritan rushed both Rowan and Summers to a nearby hospital, but Rowan was pronounced dead after arriving.
Summers did not sustain any serious injuries.

- The most common vessels to be involved in accidents were open motorboats, personal watercraft, and cabin motorboats.
