One Woman Was Killed in a Party Bus Accident
According to the San Antonio Express News, a woman, Laura Sampayo, 23, has been killed in a crash with a party bus.
Details about the Fatal Accident
The driver of the party bus had called 911 prior to the accident to inform them her engine was stalled out, and that she was stuck in the middle highway lane.
The driver of an SUV slowed and attempted to pass the bus in the right lane when Sampayo rear-ended him. After hitting the SUV, Sampayo then ran into the stalled bus.
No one else was injured in the accident, and Sampayo’s friends have set up a GoFundMe page for funeral costs.

- There were over 3,500 car accidents in Texas in 2014.
- 4,855 Texas drivers were involved in a fatal collision the same year.
