Robstown Woman Killed in Two-Car Crash
A crash six miles outside of Robstown, Texas left a woman dead early Wednesday evening.
Details of the Fatal Robstown Car Accident
KIII-TV reports 42-year-old Maria Socorro Lopez of Robstown was killed in a two-car crash at the intersection of FM 24 and County Road 44.
Police say the crash occurred around 5:49 pm when a Chevy Malibu with three people in it failed to yield the right of way to a Ford F-150 which was also carrying three people. The truck hit the Chevy’s driver side door.
Lopez was rushed to CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline Hospital where she later died. The front side passenger of the Malibu was transported to Northwest Hospital in Calallen and the back left passenger was also taken to CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline Hospital.
The occupants of the F-150 were treated at the scene and released.
