San Antonio Man Killed in Suspected Drunk Driving Accident
Brandon Guzman, 21, was killed early Sunday morning after his vehicle was struck by a drunk driver in San Antonio.
About the Fatal San Antonio Crash
According to the San Antonio Express-News, Guzman was stopped at red light at the intersection of West Hausman Road and Loop 1604 around 1:30 am when his silver Honda Civic was rear-ended by a maroon Pontiac G8.
Police investigating the scene deduced that the Pontiac likely reached speed upwards of 100 miles per hour before colliding with Guzman’s vehicle.
Guzman’s passenger, who has not been named, was rushed to University Hospital where he was listed in serious condition.
Authorities determined that the driver of the Pontiac was intoxicated at the time of the accident and have charged the man with intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assault. His identify has not yet been released.
