San Antonio Woman Killed in Overnight Accident

A San Antonio woman was killed in a collision with a fence.

Details about the Fatal Collision

KSAT 12 News San Antonio is reporting that, according to the San Antonio Police Department, a woman was killed in the overnight hours in a car accident in which she crashed into a fence on the northwest side of the city.

According to police, the accident happened at about 1 a.m. on Thursday on the 2600 block of Vance Jackson Road, near Interstate 10 and Adrian Drive. Police have further stated that it is possible that the driver may have had her driver-side door open when she hit the fence.

After the collision the driver then became trapped in the truck for at least an hour. The woman died at the scene of the accident.

At this time, an investigation remains ongoing, and it is unknown whether or not alcohol had played a role in the accident.
