Schertz Highway Wreck Leaves 21-Year-Old Deceased
A report from Schertz Police Department reveals that a young woman lost her life in a multi-car crash on Saturday, December 12.
About the IH-35 Southbound Multi-Car Wreck
KSAT News reports the tragic event occurring at the 21500 block of IH-35 southbound. 21-year-old Karla Barraza died late Saturday night near her parked Volkswagen Jetta as she stood outside her vehicle. Reports suggest a Nissan Rouge struck Barraza and her Volkswagen, throwing Barraza into oncoming traffic.
Schertz Police identified the Nissan driver to be 26-year-old Amankumar Patel. Alcohol use has been ruled out as a factor of the crash and no charges have been filed as of yet.
The initial crash also triggered another accident involving a Chevrolet Z71.
