Texas Couple Killed in Crash While Attending Car Event
According to KWTX 10, a Texas couple was identified as the deceased in a car accident as they participated in a car event on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Details About the Accident
The accident occurred in Jackson County on October 3rd, 2016. Norris Wayne Burrow, 76, and Janie Kennedy Burrow, 79, were riding in their 1973 Volkswagen, which was modified as a dune buggy. The couple was visiting from Texas.
The accident happened due to another car pulling out into their path.
Their hometown has not been determined yet.
The car event that the Burrows were attending was called the Cruisin’ the Coast event. This event takes place annually for a week, and brings car enthusiasts to town from all over the country.
The accident is still under investigation.
