The accident occurred around 11:45 a.m. local time at the intersection of Hemingway Drive and Route 125. The initial collision happened between the two SUVs, according to The Portsmouth Herald.
Charlene Hodsdon, 65, stopped on Route 125 to turn left onto Hemingway Drive when another motorist, 78-year-old Harold Jencks, crashed into the back of her SUV.

Brian Westcott, 49, the driver of the 18-wheeler, and Jencks received treatment at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Hodsdon was taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover. Although the vehicles in the collision sustained massive damage, the extent of the victims’ injuries is not currently known.
The Portsmouth Herald reports that the police have yet to file charges in connection to the injury accident.
