Three Teens Tragically Killed in Overturned Car Accident
Police are investigating a fatal car accident near DeKalb that left three people dead.
About the Bowie County Fatal Crash
KTBS News reports that three teenagers have died in a single vehicle crash early Sunday, November 8, morning. Texas State Troopers have identified the accident location on Bowie County Rd. 3302 about six miles outside DeKalb.
17-year-old Katelyn Vaughn was driving the vehicle at the time of incident. Her vehicle eventually slid off the road and flipped over into a creek.
17-year-old Megan Daniel and 19-year-old Ashlin Cox were instantly killed along with Vaughn. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
