Tire Blowout Leads to Fatal Accident near Corpus Christi
A 33-year-old San Antonio man was killed and his passenger was injured in a rollover accident near Corpus Christi, Texas last week, San Antonio Express News is reporting.
Details of the Corpus Christi Auto Accident
- According to reports, the auto accident occurred on September 4, 2012 near Bishop, Texas.
- The two men were travelling west on FM 70 when the vehicle’s back tire failed, causing a blow out.
- Both men were ejected from the vehicle. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene; his passenger was hospitalized and remains in critical condition.
- The Department of Public Safety reported that neither passenger was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
