Two Injured in Fiery DWI Crash in San Antonio

San Antonio police have charged a 26-year-old man with DWI following a fiery crash on Highway 90 that left him and one other person injured.
Details of the San Antonio DWI Crash
KSAT reports that the crash occurred in the 9600 block of U.S. Highway 90 West at around 9:00 PM.
Police say the suspect, a 26-year-old man, was traveling westbound on the highway when he rear-ended a truck driven by a 63-year-old man. The suspect’s vehicle then caught fire with the suspect trapped inside.
Fortunately, bystanders were able to pull the suspect from the vehicle before police arrived.
Both men were transported to the hospital, though their conditions were not immediately available.
Police say the man responsible for the crash will face DWI charges.

- An additional 244,534 people were injured in car crashes in Texas in 2025, with 17,420 people suffering incapacitating injuries.
