Just outside Austin, in Round Rock, Texas, an early morning collision between a vehicle and a train disrupted commuter traffic on January 22nd, 2024.

According to Fox7 news, a car and train collided early Monday morning, near McNeil Road and County Road 172 in southwest Round Rock. The crash occurred around 2:00 a.m., prompting Austin city police officers to urge drivers to seek alternate routes as the wreckage caused significant traffic delays.
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported as a result of the incident. However, the roads remained closed for several hours while police investigated the cause of the crash.
