Two People Killed, Three Injured in Early Morning Car Accident
A two car collision early Thursday morning resulted in the death of two people.
About the Collision
According to the FOX 51 News, two people were killed and three more were injured in a crash Thursday morning in Gilmer, Texas.
Authorities state that a Mitsubishi Eclipse headed west on State Highway 154 collided with a Ford Mustang headed east around 8:50 am after the driver of the Eclispe lost control of his vehicle and veered into oncoming traffic.
The driver of the Eclipse, 30-year-old Anibal Munoz of Winnsboro, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers in the vehicle, Rodolfo Macario, 29, and Fracisco Munoz, 44, were both taken to the hospital – Macario is listed in intensive care.
The driver of the Mustang, 16-year-old Brody Stuart, later died at the hospital. Another passenger in the Mustang was treated and released from the hospital.
The accident is still under investigation.
