U.S. Marshall Critically Injures Woman in Drunk Driving Crash

A deputy U.S. Marshall was charged with vehicle assault after severely injuring a woman while driving heavily under the influence.

About the U.S. Marshall Intoxication Assault

In San Antonio, Texas, at 6900 block of Loop 1604 near Chase Hill, a pickup truck collided headfirst into another vehicle while cruising down the wrong exit ramp. 40 year-old Jonathon Paul Jones and U.S. Marshall was proven to be the perpetrator behind the reckless crash.

According to reports, the victim he crashed into had no choice but to be urgently rescued from her vehicle and transported to a hospital for sustaining multiple injuries. Investigators are searching for the bar the Marshall may have visited before the crash. If Jones was visibly intoxicated and still sold alcohol, the bar could face charges as well.

Jones is now under arrest facing charges as well as relieved from his duties on administrative leave.
