Woman Killed in Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle passenger that was killed on Sunday in San Antonio has been identified by the authorities.

KSAT 12 News in San Antonio is reporting that the connecting ramp from Interstate 35 to Interstate 10 heading west was closed for several hours on Sunday so emergency crews could clean up what was left after the motorcycle accident that happened on Sunday.

According to authorities, the accident happened at about 6 p.m. When police arrived at the scene of the accident, they found that the passenger of the motorcycle has sustained serious injuries.

The victim, who has been identified as 41-year-old Celeste Cardenas, was taken to University Hospital where she later died of her injuries.

According to police, the victim’s husband was driving the motorcycle, when he told police he lost control of the bike and crashed.

The ramp onto the interstate was closed for several hours while police conducted their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
