A Michigan woman was killed in a crash after failing to stop at a stop sign.
WWMT News is reporting that Kalamazoo County Sheriff Deputies are investigating after a woman died after running a stop sign, which resulted in a crash, in Kalamazoo County on Saturday, News Channel 3 reports.
Deputies were called to S. 8th St. and S Avenue. just after 3 p.m. after the accident that happened in Texas Township.
According to the Sheriff Richard Fuller, Iryna Jones, 61, failed to stop at the intersection of 8th St. and S Ave. and was hit on the driver’s side by a Buick.
The Buick was driven by Ronald Batten, 77, and Sharon Batton, 75, was in the passenger seat.
Police confirmed that Jones was pronounced dead on the scene.
