KSAT 12 News is reporting that a young girl was killed on Friday after she was hit by an SUV while she was riding a scooter on the driveway of the family’s home near O’Connor Grove near Larkdale Drive, according to police.
The father of the girl believes that the girl, identified as 7-year-old Josie Marie, went down the driveway and onto the road, but wasn’t seen by the driver of the SUV because she was blocked by a parked vehicle.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the woman who was driving the SUV that hit the young girl is in her 70s, but did stop to render aid and is not expected to face any charges at this time.
