2020 Thomas J. Henry Turkey Giveaway Happening This Saturday!

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (November 16, 2020) – Texas attorney and philanthropist Thomas J. Henry will once again be giving away thousands of Thanksgiving turkeys this Saturday, November 21, as part of his firm’s annual Turkey Giveaway. Due to COVID-19, significant changes have been made to the Thomas J. Henry Annual Turkey Giveaway. To ensure the safety of our staff and event participants, this year’s Turkey Giveaway will be drive-thru only!

The event remains free to the public and the firm will still be offering pick-up locations in four different cities; however, the main giveaway location has been moved from the firm’s Starr Street office in Corpus Christi to the Fairgrounds Field Stadium in Robstown. This move will allow cars to lineup safely as part of the drive thru giveaway, without impeding traffic.

A special giveaway for pre-approved churches and non-profit organizations will still take place Friday, November 2o at the firm’s office in downtown Corpus Christi.

Thomas J. Henry started the Turkey Giveaway in Corpus Christi, Texas more than 20 years ago. Over the years, additional pickup locations were added in Alice, San Diego, and Freer in order to accommodate even more South Texas residents. In fact, more than 350,000 people throughout the South Texas region have been impacted by this generous event, making the Thomas J. Henry Turkey Giveaway one of the largest Thanksgiving charity events in the nation.
