Thomas J. Henry Meets with Ken Feinberg

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (May 2, 2014) — Thomas J. Henry met with Kenneth Feinberg in Washington D.C. this morning to discuss a potential resolution for clients injured and families of those killed in accidents involving GM vehicles recalled for defective ignitions.

DETAILS OF THE GM MEETING

Feinberg was hired by GM to advise the company on how to respond to victims, and families of victims, who were injured or killed in accidents involving recalled GM vehicles. Feinberg is best known for handling compensation funds for victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, BP oil spill, and the Boston Marathon bombings.

“This initial meeting has been productive,” lead GM recall ligation attorney Thomas J. Henry stated.

“GM reaching out to me through Ken Feinberg is a positive step in the right direction but it is just the first of many steps toward a satisfactory resolution for each of my clients.”

Discussions between Feinberg and attorney Thomas J. Henry occurred over several hours this morning at Feinberg’s office in Washington D.C. Topics discussed included legal and civic issues involved in the compensation of recall victims and GM’s response to compensating victims of injury and death.

The firm is currently representing nearly 500 people who died, family members who lost loved ones, serious injury victims, and others harmed by the GM ignition switch recall.

“This is a very difficult time for all our clients and it is very important that GM take responsibility,” Thomas J. Henry added.
