1 Dead, 2 Injured in East Austin Crash

One person is dead and two others are injured as a result of a rollover crash in East Austin early Friday morning.

Details of the Fatal East Austin Crash

According to reports, the fatal crash occurred around 1:30 am on Johnny Morris Road near U.S. 290. At least three people were involved in the crash, one of whom was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The two other people were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. This is the 101st fatal crash to be recorded in Austin in 2021.
