1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Austin Crash
One person is dead as a result of a multi-vehicle crash along State Highway 71 in Austin on Monday morning.
Details of the Fatal Austin Crash
According to KVUE, the collision occurred around 5:15 a.m. on SH 71 near Covered Drive Bridge.
Medics arrived to find one person pinned in their vehicle and attempted to extricate the victim while performing CPR and life-saving efforts. Unfortunately, the patient was declared dead at 5:36 a.m.
A second person was evaluated at the scene.
Details on how the crash occurred were not immediately available. The crash remains under investigation.
