16-Year-Old Girl Hit by Pickup Truck on Walk to School
According to WLUK, a teenage girl was hospitalized after being hit by a pickup truck on her walk to school.
Crash Remains Under Investigation
The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. local time near De Pere High School at the Chicago Street and Crestview Lane intersection. WLUK reports that the 16-year-old girl was crossing Chicago Street when she was hit.
The 32-year-old woman driving the pickup truck was heading west on Chicago Street. According to investigators, the pickup truck collided with the girl while she was in a marked crosswalk.
According to WLUK, the girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the pickup truck driver was uninjured.
