19-Year-Old Charged in Hit-and-run Crash that Injured Dallas Deputies

A 19-year-old has been charged in a hit-and-run crash that injured three people, including two Dallas County sheriff’s deputies.

Details of the Dallas Hit-and-Run Crash

According to FOX 4 News, 19-year-old Joevony Vasquez was traveling on Interstate 20 near Mountain Creek Parkway Tuesday morning when he struck a patrol car at a traffic stop. The two deputies were exiting the patrol car when the collision occurred.

Vasquez then collided with a second vehicle before trying to flee the scene. He was found shortly after.

The driver of the car that was pulled over and the two deputies were taken to the hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available.

Vasquez is charged with three counts of leaving an accident involving an injury.
