Cabela’s Recalls Food Dehydrators over Fire Hazard
Cabela’s is issuing a recall on about 3,000 food dehydrators that pose a fire risk.
About the Cabela’s Food Dehydrator Recall
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recall is due to defective wiring in the food dehydrators. The wiring can build up heat, which can pose a fire hazard.
Cabela’s has received nine reports of the recalled products malfunctioning. The company says no injuries have been reported.
Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled units and contact Cabela’s to receive a replacement or refund.
