Crime Stoppers Offering up to $5,000 for Info on Hit-and-Run Driver
San Antonio police are working with Crime Stoppers as they try to identify a hit-and-run driver responsible for the death of a woman on the city’s North Side.
Details of the Hit-and-Run and Resulting Search
According to KSAT, the deceased woman’s body was found around 4 pm March 9 in the 27600 block of U.S. Highway 281 North.
A witness at the location where the body was located said they did not see the accident occur, nor could they provide a description of the vehicle. Another witness, a truck driver, used his 18-wheeler to block traffic and keep additional vehicles from hitting the woman.
Police who investigated the scene said it was unclear where the woman was hit, saying there was limited road evidence. They also could not determine what kind of vehicle hit her.
