The driver of a tractor-trailer has been charged with failure to yield right of way following a deadly crash that left one man dead and another hospitalized.
WBTW reports that Chris Anthony Blair, 28, died Tuesday after the pickup he was a passenger in crashed into an 18-wheeler just outside of Conway.
Preliminary reports indicate a Sterling Tractor Trailer was backing across the Dongola Highway into a private driveway when it was struck by a Nissan pickup. Blair sustained fatal blunt force trauma as a result of the impact, and the driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police have charged the driver of the tractor-trailer for failure to yield right of way.
