Fossil Group Recalls Skechers Jewelry Gift Sets: What You Need to Know

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of approximately 260 Skechers Jewelry Gift Sets due to high levels of lead in the clasp of a braided black bracelet. Lead exposure can be harmful to children, so it’s important to act quickly.

What’s being recalled?

  • The braided black bracelet included in Skechers Jewelry Gift Sets (model number SR9082). The watch in the set has “IF2812307,” “Sketchers,” and “SR9082” printed on the back.

Why is it being recalled?

  • The clasp on the black bracelet contains high levels of lead. Lead is a toxic metal that can cause serious health problems in young children, including learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral problems.

What should you do?

  • Immediately stop using the black bracelet from the Skechers Jewelry Gift Set.
  • Throw the bracelet away in the trash. Do not recycle it.
  • Contact Fossil Group or the store where you purchased the gift set for a full refund.

Sold at:

  • Skechers stores nationwide
  • Online at Amazon.com, Watchstation.com, and Skechers.com
