According to the FDA, Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. of Edwardsville, Ill has proposed a voluntary recall of certain batches of Prairie Farms Holiday Nog sold at United Dairy Farmers stores between December 4th and 6th, 2023. These batches may contain undeclared egg allergens, posing a serious risk to individuals with egg allergies or sensitivities.
The recall is due to a potential mislabeling issue. No illnesses have been reported yet, but consumers who purchased the affected product are urged to return it to their local United Dairy Farmers store for a full refund.
