Houston Driver Loses Control on Freeway, Causes Multi-Car Crash

Multiple people injured after Houston driver lost control of a vehicle, authorities say.

Details of the Multi-Car Crash in Houston

According to reports, the incident took place Monday around 3 a.m. on the North Freeway at Aldine Bender.

A driver traveling in the southbound lane lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the wall of the North Freeway.

Due to the crash, a motorcycle and two other cars collided with stalled vehicles on the highway.

Multiple people were sent to the hospital, and a man and woman were seen in handcuffs on Metro Video footage, though how they were involved in the incident has not yet been revealed.

In the most recent report published in 2017, TxDOT recorded a total of 65,234 crashes in Houston.

Of those crashes, 226 were fatal and 1,290 were suspected to have caused severe injuries.
