Man Charged with DWI after Fatal Car Crash on Long Island
According to WABC, one man is dead and another injured after a drunk driver loses control of their car and crashes off the road in Long Island, New York.
Details of Fatal Drunk Driving Wreck
Rosaly Agosto, 31, was driving his SUV with two passengers on Lake Avenue in Wyandanch at around 1:00 a.m. when the fatal crash happened. Agosto tried to take a right onto Brook Avenue and lost control of the vehicle.
WABC reports that Agosto flipped the car off the road just as it started snowing. A back seat passenger in his vehicle was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip but was later pronounced dead. The passenger in the front seat of the SUV received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
Agosto did not sustain injuries in the crash, reports WABC. Police have charged him with driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol.
