Man Faces DUI Charges after Crashing into Several Vehicles

According to NBC-2, a suspected drunk driver crashes into several cars, causing extensive damage in Cape Coral, Florida, on Friday afternoon.

Details of Drunk Driving Wreck

David Hernandez was driving a work van at around noon when he smashed into three different vehicles. The first vehicle was a black SUV that was completely sideswiped by Hernandez as he drove by it. After that, Hernandez rear-ended another vehicle. He ended the series of crashes by striking a parked car at Castillo’s Pharmacy.

The collisions caused thousands of dollars of damage to the cars. Police placed the man under arrest for driving drunk, reports NBC-2.

NBC-2 reports that Hernandez, who was driving without a license, had 52 previous suspensions on his license at the time of his arrest. Hernandez remains locked up and is facing four counts of DUI and two charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
