Man Injured after Striking Barrier, Hitting Other Car

According to the San Antonio Express-News, a man is being treated for life-threatening injuries in San Antonio after crashing his car into a concrete barrier and another vehicle.

Investigators Examining Scene of Accident

The man was traveling northbound on Loop 410 near Interstate 35 when he suddenly crossed from the far-right lane to the far-left lane, wrecking into a concrete wall.

After striking the concrete barrier, the vehicle continued into the middle lane and hit a separate vehicle. According to the San Antonio Express-News, nobody in the separate vehicle was injured in the crash.

A woman in the passenger seat of the man’s car was also hospitalized but with non-life-threatening injuries. The San Antonio Express-News reports that the man was transported to Northeast Methodist Hospital but was later taken to University Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
