Man Killed in Bexar County Hit-and-Run
A man was instantly killed in a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Northeast Bexar County on December 15.
Details of the Bexar County Hit-and-Run
Reports from News 4 SA say 54-year-old Joseph Colbert was walking along Winsford Street near Montgomery Drive late Tuesday, December 15, when he was struck by a vehicle. Emergency officials attempted to save Colbert who was found lying in the center of the road, but he was declared dead at the scene.
The suspected driver allegedly fled the scene of the crime without administering any sort of aid or contacting authorities. Officers are currently searching for the suspect by investigating witness accounts.
